Hiking and relaxing in nature are a great way to end the work week.
This time we are heading to Tavush to enjoy the sun and nature of the country through this interesting route. As part of the tour, we will hike from the village of Koghb to the Mshkavank monastery complex, after which we will head to the village of Berdavan, where the Ghalinjakar fortress and the old cemetery are located.
P.S. The total length of the medium-difficulty hike is about 9 km. Participants are advised to wear sports shoes, comfortable clothing, wear a protective hat, and have enough food and water for one day.

1. Koghb village
Koghb is one of the largest villages in the Tavush region of Armenia, founded in the 1st–2nd centuries BC. The village is located in the Noyemberyan community, surrounded by forested mountains. Koghb is known for its historical monuments, including the Mshkavank monastery complex, as well as for its developed cultural and educational life.
2. Mshkavank
Mshkavank is a 12th-century monastic complex located about 4 km southwest of Koghb village. It is notable for its architectural features and historical significance.
3. Berdavan
Berdavan is a village in the Tavush Province, neighboring Koghb. The village is known for its medieval fortress, Berdavan Fortress, which held significant defensive importance.
4. Ghalinjakar
Ghalinjakar is a medieval fortress located near the village of Berdavan. It was built for defensive purposes and today stands as a historical and cultural monument.
