This time, our wild adventure leads us to the Geghama Mountains!

Our destination is Lake Akna, a crater lake located on the border of Kotayk and Gegharkunik provinces. It is listed among Armenia’s natural monuments. The hike will start from Sevaberd village, and we’ll head towards Lake Akna. There we’ll enjoy free time to rest and explore the area. For those who wish, there will be an option to ascend Mount Aknasar, which rises beside the lake.

Part of our journey will be made even more exciting as we ride the Hovazavr – Armenia’s first and only off-road tourist bus, adding a unique twist to our hiking experience!

P.S. This is a medium-difficulty hike, with a total length of 8 km. Participants are advised to wear hiking boots and comfortable clothing, bring a hat, sunglasses, food and 2–3 liters of water for the day, warm clothes, extra shoes, trekking poles, a first aid kit, a raincoat, and a flashlight.
