The program includes a stop in Kapuyt village, where you will see rock-carved cross-stones and a natural stone arch. Then the trail continues up to Mount Berdakar at 2221 m and later follows a scenic forest path to Artavan village.

Meals are not included; you may bring your own food or pay on site. For this route, you are also advised to bring food for one day and 2–3 liters of water.

Are there any entrance fees on this route?

Entrance fees are not included since some guests may prefer to skip specific sites. They are usually paid in cash on site.

Yes. You may skip a paid entrance and wait for the group outside.

About this tour

Add one more hike to the list. This time we’re heading to the stunning Mount Berdakar. Our first stop would be Village Kapuyt, where we’ll discover cross-stones carved into the rocks and the natural stone arch monument. From there, our trail continues upward to Mount Berdakar (2221 m), and then through a scenic forest path leading us to the village of Artavan.

P.S. The total hiking distance is about 16 km. Participants are advised to wear sports shoes and comfortable clothing, bring a protective hat, sunglasses, food and water for one day (2–3 liters), warm clothing, an extra pair of shoes, trekking poles, a first aid kit, a raincoat, and a flashlight.
