"Redundant person" in Gyumri Presentation-tour

As part of the tour, we will see the famous churches of Gyumri: Yot Verk, St. The sign and St. The Savior, which are the spiritual and cultural centers of the city. These magnificent churches with their unique architecture represent the spiritual heritage and historical past of Armenia.

During our tour we will be at the “Theater of Reflections”, where we will watch D. Demirchyan’s “Redundant person”. The play is based on Demirchyan’s story of the same name, edited and adapted to modern perception. The action takes place in Gyumri in 1918-1920, when the city was under threat of a Turkish attack. The heroes of the play, the people of Gyumri, show how historical lessons often remain misunderstood, and how people have distanced themselves from their roots and religion.
