Shaki waterfall is located on the Shaki River (a tributary of the Vorotan) in the north of Sisian city. The territory of the waterfall is very picturesque. You can see many small grottoes and caves here, and the waterfall itself has a truly fabulous sight. The noise and power of the waterfall, falling from a height of 18 meters, is so strong that it drowns out human voices and any other sounds.

There is a beautiful legend about a blue-eyed beauty named Shake associated with the name of the waterfall. According to the legend, during one of the invasions, the girl was kidnapped by foreign invaders. However, proud Shake managed to slip away and, fleeing from her pursuers, threw herself from a steep high cliff. The girl's snow-white dress, fluttering in the wind, turned into a powerful waterfall at that very moment. So, since then, the waterfall has been named after the beautiful Shake.

Shaki waterfall is located in a deep gorge, rich in rocks and caves. Traces of human activity dating back to the Stone Age were found here. The Shaky waterfall is located in the Vorotan Gorge, 3 km northwest of Sisian, on the river Shaki. The height of the waterfall is 18 m.
