Charents' Arch tours from Yerevan

16 tours · Group tours · Private tours · Multi-day packages

Charents' Arch is a monument on the Yerevan–Garni road at Voghjaberd in Kotayk Province. Its exterior is basalt, while the inner facing is orange tuff. Architect Rafael Israelyan designed the arch, which bears lines from Yeghishe Charents's poem To My Sweet Armenia. The inscription explains the name used in the tour programmes. Looking at the arch as a specific stop helps distinguish it from the other sites along the Garni and Geghard route.
Group and private itineraries list Charents' Arch alongside Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery and the Symphony of Stones. Some also name lavash baking. Other private programmes combine these stops with Khor Virap, Lake Sevan and Sevanavank, or a Yerevan city tour. Compare each complete itinerary to see which combination suits your interests. A route focused on Garni and Geghard places the arch within that visit; longer Armenia trips include it within a broader programme. Check the day's stop list and the overall duration before selecting a trip.
