Discover the diverse nature and medieval monasteries of Tavush on this two-day hiking trip.

On the first day, we will visit Itsakar and continue our hike towards Kaptavank and Ghuzani Rock. Afterwards, we’ll explore the town of Berd and enjoy a walk in Soran Dendropark.

On the second day, we will ascend to Tavush Fortress, head to the village of Chinari, and visit the borderland Khoranashat Monastic Complex.

P.S. The total hiking distance is about 13 km. Participants are advised to wear sports shoes and comfortable clothing, bring a protective hat, sunglasses, food and water for one day (2–3 liters), warm clothing, an extra pair of shoes, trekking poles, a first aid kit, a raincoat, and a flashlight.
