About this tour
Join our exclusive hike through the unique Debed Gorge, during which we will be accompanied by the beautiful views of Lori's nature, with its deep gorges and forested mountains.
P.S. The total length of the medium-difficulty hike is about 10 km. Participants are advised to wear hiking boots, comfortable clothing, a protective hat, sunglasses, and have enough food and water for the day.
Itinerary
1 Stop 1 Verin Horomayr
We will begin our hike from Verin Horomayr, which, like Nerkin Horomayr, is part of the entire Horomayr monastery complex. This unique and rarely seen architectural structure in Armenia was once also known as Dzoraezri Monastery.
2 Stop 2 Nerkin Horomayr
Continuing the hike, we will reach Nerkin Horomayr, which, due to its location, was also once known by another name: Dzoramidji Monastery.
3 Stop 3 Kobayr Monastery
We will end our hike at Kobayr Monastery: a unique, rock-based monastery complex that has been a prominent spiritual and cultural center.
