About this tour
Ruben Yesayan, the author of the books “The Monks Have a Secret” and “13 km Away from the Tunnel”, will be joining our tour. Together we will visit Noravank and Jermuk. We will explore the Jermuk drinking gallery, the fedayi park, and also Jermuk’s “Margaret” mineral spring. At the end of the tour, we’ll have a discussion with Ruben Yesayan about his books.
Itinerary
1 Stop 1 Noravank Monastery
Medieval Armenian taste and architectural talent were interblended in Noravank, founded in the 9th century, this monastery developed in the 13th and 14th centuries. Surrounded by high red-coloured mountains and built from stones taken from those rocks, Noravank harmoniously complements the local landscape, remaining unique in its kind.
2 Stop 2 Jermuk
We will visit the Jermuk drinking hall, the park of the fedayeen, as well as the "Margaret Flower" in Jermuk.
3 Stop 3 Meeting with Ruben Yesayan
