This time our destination is village Hors, which, like many other settlements in the Vayots Dzor region, has been home to civilizations for thousands of years. The evidence is the decorative sculptures built in the center of the village, the polished walls, the half-ruined “Chesari Gate” building of the 13th century, and the adjacent church complex made of pink stones. During the tour, we’ll have a beautiful hike to Lake Hors, where we’ll end our day is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Vayk. If you wish, you can also organize a picnic by the lake.
P.S. The total length of the hike is about 10 km. Participants are advised to wear sneakers, comfortable clothing, a hat, and to take food and water for the day.
