On the 7th of July of 2018 an event named “Mulberry Festival in Goris” will take place in Qarahunj village,
which is 4 km far from Goris city.
During the tour we’ll also visit:
1. Noravank Monastery
2. Tatever ropeway
3. Tatev MonasteryThe event will start with the competitive ritual of shedding mulberry from trees, than it is planned to taste
traditional dishes and held exhibition and sales. This will be accompanied by Armenian traditional dance and music.
