You can see the program of 2 unforgettable and adventurous days bellow.
Day one:
We will visit:
✔︎Tolors reservoir not far from Sisian, where we will reach St. Hripsime Church by boat.
✔︎Old Khndzoresk village, we will get there by a huge swinging bridge and we will see the caves where people lived until the 1950s.
✔︎Tatev monastery (we will sit on the longest ropeway in the world)
✔︎Tandzaver village. Here we will enjoy the evening with tea around the campfire.
Day two
✔︎ In Tandzaver village we will see 15th century church of St. Stephen.
✔︎ We will pass the “Magic Forest” with a very beautiful walk (5 km). Then by a hike we will reach the waterfalls of Tandzaver, where we can swim (14 km hike). Those who wish can use a cycling trip in the mountains.
We will visit on the way.
✔︎The fortress of Andok prince
✔︎We will see fossils of ancient marine animals that come to prove that the whole territory of Armenia was once at the bottom of the ocean.
✔︎And of course we will visit Lake Chai Zami hidden in the forest.
After all this, you will of course want to stay in Tandzaver, but we must return to Yerevan.
P.S. You can use the ropeway to reach Tatev Monastery (optional).
