How to get to Tsaghkadzor?
You can get to Tsaghkadzor from Yerevan by intercity buses or by taxi. The Tsaghkadzor ropeway was opened in 1967. Currently, the road has been modernized with modern LEITNER equipment and includes three successive elevators with a total length of 4200 meters. The high-speed chairlift takes passengers to the highest point of the route (2819 m. above sea level) in just 32 minutes.The ropeway runs every day from 10:30 to 19:00. The cost of a single-use card is 2000 AMD (approximately 300 rubles or 4 USD).


Ski slopes of Tsaghkadzor
The Tsaghkadzor ski area is located on the slopes of Mount Teghenis and includes 15 different slopes with a total length of 30 km (the longest route is 8 km). The ski slopes of Tsaghkadzor meet all international requirements. There are the routes of the corresponding difficulty both for beginners and for real professionals – fans of ski extreme. The latter will clearly be interested in the serpentine track with difficult sections and sharp turns, located in the lower part of the ski area.
