– Go to Tsakhkevank – a monastery carved in a cave on Mount Ara. By the way, in the mossy monastery there is a spring, water of which has healing properties. Locals call the spring “Holy Water.”
– We will also visit Surb Astvatsatsin (St. Holy Mother) church in Yeghvard, built in 1301 in connection with the 1000th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity in Armenia as a state religion. Prince Azizbek built the church. The church is also a mausoleum, since the body of Prince Azizbek’s son is buried here.
