Within the framework of this tour, our first stop will be near Tsaghkevank, dug in one of the caves on Mount Ara, to reach this we will cross a small section of the road on foot. It is said that the water of the spring known as “Surb Jur” in the monastery has healing and healing properties. Next, we will visit Yeghvard St. Astvatsatsin Church, which with its unique architectural solutions expresses the flight of thought of 14th-century Armenian architects. Then we will go to our destination Bjni, where we will visit Bjni St. Astvatsatsin Church and Bjni Fortress.
In Bjni we will see first reconstruction sign in Armenia, which allows seeing the former appearance of the old monuments through modern solutions.
P.S. The total length of the walk to Tsaghkevank is about 5,5 km. Participants are advised to wear sneakers, comfortable clothing, a protective cap, and food and water for the day.
The price does not include the entrance fee for Bjni Fortress: 700 AMD (for RA and EEU citizens), 1400 AMD (for foreigners), 350 AMD (for pensioners), 200 AMD (for students), 100 AMD (for schoolchildren).
