During this special tour, we are going to discover Kotayk province. Our first station will be in the city of Yeghvard, where we will visit the three-floor church St. Astvatsatsin. It is one of the unique monuments of Armenian architecture, dedicated to the millennium of the adoption of Christianity. After we will continue our journey to Teghenyats Monastery (6th century). In order to reach the monastery on the wooded slopes of Mount Tegenis, you need to walk along a rural road about 4 km long.
We will end the tour at Petrosyans ’Gastro Yard, where will be held a master class on making rural cheese, and at the end, we will have delicious hospitality.
P.S. Total hike is about 8km. Participants are recommended to wear sports, comfortable boots, have food, water, an umbrella, a hat, and warm clothes for one day.
