All those who want to discover Tumanyan’s source of inspiration, the wonderful nature of Lori, can join this interesting and meaningful tour. We are heading to Dsegh village of Lori, following in the footsteps of the All-Armenian poet. Within the framework of the tour we will visit Hovhannes Tumanyan House-Museum, which was turned into a museum in 1939, on the occasion of Tumanyan’s 70th birthday. The next stop will be the adjacent St. Gregory the Illuminator Church. Then we will walk along a beautiful path to Bardzrakash St. Gregory Church. On the way we will see the source of Gikor. According to the villagers, famous heroes of the story “Gikor” Hambo and Gikor drank water from this source. At the end of the walk we will enjoy the mirror-like beauty of Lake Tsover surrounded by Tumanyan nature.
P.S. For hiking, participants are advised to wear sneakers, comfortable clothing, and a protective cap.
