This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Artsakh in one day.
The first stop will be in Dadivank (Khutavank), located in Dadivank village of Shahumyan region, on the slope of Dadivan Mountain, on the left bank of the Tartar River. This historical monument was built in the 13th century by the wife of the prince of the Vakhtang dynasty, Arzukhatun. The preserved structures of the complex are from the 9th to 13th centuries.
We will visit Gandzasar, built in the 10th century on Mount Gandzasar. It was named after a hill in front of the village of Vank, where there are mines of silver and other metals.
We will also visit the village of Vank where we will see the Lion Rock.
We will also visit Hayravank Monastery which is one of the famous monasteries in Gegharkunik province.
