Our first stop will be in Sevanavank monastery, to reach which we have to climb several dozen steps starting from the peninsula. After getting acquainted with the history of the monastery, if you wish, you can sail on Sevan Lake, which, by the way, is the one of the alpine freshwater lakes on earth.
Next we are going to the beautiful Tavush region, which stands out not only for its natural heritage, but also for its incomparable historical and cultural monuments. As part of the tour, we will visit the 13th century monastery complex Makaravank, which is distinguished by its originality, richness and variety of its decorations. We will also visit the Tsrviz Monastery or Moro Dzoro, located near the village of Lusahovit, which stands out for its unique architectural solutions.
P.S. The total length of the hike is about 2 km. Participants are advised to wear athletic shoes,
comfortable clothing, protective headgear and goggles.
