We will visit Goshavank within the framework of this tour. After receiving historical information about Goshavank and visiting Gosh’s grave, we will start our beautiful forest walk to Lake Gosh. The lake got its name from the Armenian writer and public figure Mkhitar Gosh. It is located in the very heart of Dilijan Reserve. During the tour, we will also have a stop in the territory of the Old Dilijan complex, which fully represents the spirit of the 19th-century city.
We’ll end the day with a cozy campfire gathering, enjoying a delicious feast of roasted potatoes and wine.
P.S. The total length of the hike is about 5 km. Participants are advised to wear sports shoes, comfortable clothes, a protective hat, goggles, food and water needed for 1 day (2-3 L), warm clothes, replacement shoes, walking sticks, a first aid kit, raincoat, and flashlight.
