This Sunday we are going to one of the most beautiful places in Armenia – the village of Herher in Vayots Dzor region, during which we will get acquainted with a number of interesting historical and cultural monuments located in this area.
From the village of Herher we will start our hike to one of the famous medieval deserts-the monastery of St. Sion, located on the top of a small rock bordered by two gorges.
We will continue our way to the uniquely beautiful waterfalls “Herher” and “Qaravaz”.
We will finish the day in a country house, where there will be a treat with tea and sweets.
P.S. The total length of the hike of average difficulty is about 7 km. Participants are recommended to wear sneakers, comfortable clothes, wear a protective hat, and have the necessary food and water for the day.
P.S.S. The price does not include a fee for a rural house – 1000 drams.
