Within the framework of a one-day tour, we suggest discovering the cultural capital of Gyumri. As part of the tour, we will see the famous churches of Gyumri: Yot Verk, St. Nshan and St. The Savior, which are the spiritual and cultural centers of the city. These magnificent churches with their unique architecture represent the spiritual heritage and historical past of Armenia.
During our tour, we will be at the “Reflection Theater”, where we will see D. Demirchyan’s “The enhanced one”. A play based on Demirchyan’s story of the same name, edited and adapted to modern understanding. the actions take place in Gyumri in 1918-1920, when the city was under the threat of a Turkish attack. The protagonists of the play, Gyumri people, show how historical lessons are often not understood and how people have moved away from their roots and religion.
