This time we will go to Ararat region within the framework of this special tour. We will first visit the ruins of Dvin, then Tiknuni Fortress, which protects the outskirts of Dvin, then we will go to the “Storm’s Church” built in the 7th-8th centuries. David Chapel. During the tour we will visit A. Poghosyan Museum of Wood Art, a place called “King’s Bench”, we will see the famous mysterious pyramid of Dvin. We will end the full day with a simple walk to Azat Reservoir, from where there is a wonderful view of Yeranos mountain range – Mount Ararat.
P.S. The total length of the hike is 10 km. Participants are advised to wear comfortable sneakers, to take food for the day, water, a raincoat, and warm clothing.
