During these two days, we will discover the most beautiful sights of Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik regions. We will visit not only historical and cultural monuments but also natural monuments.
Yerevan- Hayravank- Selim Passway - Noravank - Shaki waterfall - Goris
The first stop will be Hayravank, which was built in the 9th century and is located in the village of the same name. Then we will continue through Selim mountain pass to Vayots Dzor, where we will visit Noravank. The monastery was built in the 12th century by the architect Momik. Then we will head to Syunik, where you will have the opportunity to see the Shaki Waterfall. At the end of the day, we will go to Goris to spend the night.
Overnight: Goris
Goris - Khndzoresk - Karahunj- Tatev - Khor Virap - Yerevan
The first stop will be Khndzoresk. It is an ancient cave city known for its swinging bridge. Then we will continue to Karahunj. It is an ancient observatory and many believe it is older than the English Stonehenge. The next stop will be the Tatev monastery complex, and if you wish, you can head to the monastery complex by the longest ropeway in the world. Before reaching Yerevan, you will have a stop in Khor Virap, where the first Catholicos of Armenians, Grigor Lusavorich, was imprisoned for many years.
