From now on each week ONE WAY TOUR is expected to organize series of interesting tour-meetings with
famous photographers. This time our guest is photograph Andranik Keshishyan.
At first we will stop in the village of Areni near which on the left bank of the river Arpa, on the heights neighboring
the village, St. Astvatsatsin cozy church is located. It was built in 14th century by the architect Momik.
After it we are expected to visit Noravank monastery which is the most famous monastery of this region located on
the rocky gorge of high-upplace. The structure of the monastic complex surprises visitors with their harmonic
surroundings and elegance of ornamentation.
We will continue our way to Vernashen village where the museum dedicated to Gladzor University in St. Hakob’s
church is located. Then we will visit the monastery of Tanadeh (Tanahat) that is one of the religious andcultural
centers of medieval Armenia. Here used to be the prominent University of Gladzor.
At the end of the tour a visit to another St. Khach monastery in Arkazis expected. Here is one of the famous places of
pilgrimage in Vayots Dzor region where, according to tradition,a cross piece of the Jesus was buried in.
Master class with Andranik Keshishyan is expected.
