Sighnaghi is a small corner of “Europe” in Georgia’s Kakheti region. No wonder it is called the CITY OF LOVE.It is unique in its nature, architecture, in which armenians also have their contribution.
The city is also famous for the production of wine and traditional carpets.So the first day we’ll visit Sighnaghi, see Sighnaghi’s fortress-walls (18th century), which are the largest
and longest throughout Georgia (length 4.5 km). Then we will visit Bodbe Monastery, where the first
apostle of Georgia St. Nino is buried, St. Stephen and St. George churches and finally walk the
narrow and interesting streets, the unique colouring of which will fascinate everybody.Overnight stay in Sighnaghi.The second day in the morning we will return to Tbilisi, we will visit Avlabari district, the Pantheon of Khojivank,
New Ejmiatsin church, Tsminda Sameba, St. Nshan church, Sion Cathedral, Metekhi church, Peace Bridge,
go up to Narikala fortress by a ropeway and so on.The ticket price of ropeway: 2,5 GEL (500 AMD)
If participants are less than 12 people, then 5,000 AMD will be added to the price by mutual agreement.
