Hikers are welcome to join our breathtaking hike to Mount Azhdahak. This is the highest mountain in the Geghama Range. The absolute height is 3597 m, and the relative height is up to 600 m. Azhdahak is a mountain of volcanic origin, in the crater of which there is a crater lake of unique beauty. We will pass part of the road on the first off-road tourist bus in Armenia, which will make this walking tour even more interesting and memorable.
During the tour, we will see:
1. Crater lake Azhdahak,
2. Petroglyphs of Geghama.
P.S. The total length of the hike is about 13 km. Participants are advised to wear hiking sneakers, comfortable clothes, wear a protective cap, and goggles, have the necessary food and water (2-3 liters) per day, warm clothes, replacement shoes, canes, and a first aid kit, raincoat, and a flashlight.
